Julian Traverse is the founder, owner, and operator of Traverse Analogue. Born with a unique love of electronics and a curiosity for music, Julian set out on a path to create some of Canada's best pro-audio hardware. Early on, he took to building clones of the ubiquitous Pultec EQP-1A tube equalizer and gained a deep understanding of how and why tube topology satisfies the record making process.

Handcrafted with top-tier components, his designs are motivated by quality, artistry and informed by relationships with professionals in the music industry. The company's flagship product, the 652: Vacuum Tube Preamplifier, has caught the attention of world-class producers like Brian Moncarz (Alice Cooper, Our Lady Peace, The Tea Party), David Bottrill (Peter Gabriel, Smashing Pumpkins, Tool), and Richard Chycki (Aerosmith, Dream Theater, Rush).

Julian lives with his family and operates his business out of beautiful Conception Bay South, Newfoundland and Labrador. With over ten years of research and development behind him, his products are inspired by recording history and refined for modern music production. Traverse Analogue takes pride in its small size and benefits from the close relationships it maintains with its user base.
